I am going through my photos to delete and backup what needs to be and found these videos from my holiday to Tanzania. The first stop was to a town called Bagamoyo, located on the Indian Ocean about an hour from Dar Es Salaam. I think Bagamoyo was my favorite place. It was absolutely beautiful, the people (or most of them) were as well! One afternoon we traveled to town and visited a village that was having a dance. They graciously allowed us to watch (and participate!) I haven’t a camcorder so all of these were recorded on my p&s, which accounts for the quality, or lack thereof.

Without further adieu, the videos…

The Bagamoyans entertaining us mzungus with live music and dance.

We were invited to a party one evening by some locals in Bagamoyo. Good drink, food, song and dance. Great company. The vid doesn’t show much, but the music is quite enjoyable.
