Photo project

For some time I’ve debated about doing a photo a day. I’ve never really managed to make myself do it though. There are a few reasons I haven’t; foremost would be lack of time. I simply have little of it and I don’t like rushing my art. The other main reason I’ve not yet jumped on that bandwagon is simply because I am not a snap shooter. There’s nothing wrong with being a snap shooter, of course, but I am not one and don’t know if I would have the inspiration to photograph something each day that would be the of quality I expect of myself. So, I think I’ll do a semi-weekly photo project to start, and see how things go from there. I need a valid and creative form of expression and am constantly trying to improve on my skill, as well as my eye. I think this would be a good way to accomplish both, so long as I don’t find it taxing. I am a photog simply for the love of creating images– showing how I view the world around me and if it become bothersome or stressful, I don’t really want it.

That said, here is the first installment of my semi-weekly photo project. ;)
