Meet Gummy.

He’s one fat kitty and so pretty. A eunuch with a lovely soprano kitty voice. hehe

Gummy

I found a photo blog a few weeks ago that I’d really not paid much attention to. Today I gave it a look. It’s probably more geared towards newbies, but there’s a lot of good information and indeed has some articles of use for any level of user. Will also add this to the links page.

Digital Photography School

I need to upload some photographs tonight to the lab. Not looking forward to that. But I think I’ve pretty much everything ready to go. So hooray.

Cheers,

R

More from Africa

November 29th, 2006 by Rachel

Still post processing. I’ll probably be doing so until I go back to Africa! ha I took so many images. It’s crazy. But enough talk… onto the photos!

Palms in Tarangire

Palms in Tarangire National Park

Middle Earth

I like to call this one, Middle Earth. ;)

Tarangire River(?)

In Tarangire NP… I *believe* this is the Tarangire River, although I’m not certain. Someone who is more in the know of Tanzanian topagraphy can correct me if I’m mistaken.

Hippo Pond in Ngorongoro

Hippo pond in Ngorongoro Crater.

From a landscape perspective, Tarangire is .absolutely. the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Ever. It’s touted as being second only to Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife population, however, we didn’t actually see that many animals… a herd of elephants, some water buck, zebras (surprise surprise!) and lots and lots of baboons. Actually, Tarangire NP is suppose to have the largest population of elephant herds, I believe, -on earth-. We were told many of them are migrating though. As well, we may have seen more .zebras. heh and wildebeest had we not visited nearing the end of the migration. At any rate, Tarangire was probably my favorite destination on the safari.

Okay, last post for today. Need to do some -work- now! :D

ha I thought I’d make a simpler one just for kicks and it’s the one they ended up going with. Well, sort of, they wanted me to add a quote from one of the other ones and they prefered the double font from one of the others either. So really, now it’s not all that simple. But here it is anyhow.

The lab I use for my ‘everyday stuff’ is having a sale on 11×14 prints… 1.99$ ea. They’re a good lab, but not the of the same quality that my pro lab is. Just thought I’d throw that out for you guys incase you were needing some 11×14s on the cheap. ;) Adorama Pix– sale ends 11 Dec.
